A Panavia Tornado GR4 ( Registration ZA412 ) of 617 Squadron piloted by Flt Lt Alasdair Spence and WSO Flt Lt Patrick Shields, looks resplendant with the commemorative Dambusters 70th anniversary tail fin. Having passed by the Tal – y – Llyn lake, heading towards Corris, the crew are undergoing low level attack training on the ` Mach Loop’ in west mid Wales. The aircraft is en-route to RIAT in 2013 to fly a commemorative flypast with the BBMF Lancaster, to mark the 70th anniversary of 617 Squadron and the famous Dams raids of May 1943.
